Too Too Too Fast
Here it is folks, the tumblr post I make every time I’m home. Same shit, I’m home, settling in, it’s really nice to know I’ll be home for a solid 2 months this time around. No scrambling to hit the road again so soon! We’re also only really doing 3-4 weeks total touring this summer (July-August) which is reallll chill.
Anyways, this is where I talk about how I love playing drums and I’m keeping up playing at home. I’ve been in this awesome routine of playing throughout the day, pretty proud to say I played for like 4 hours yesterday. I’ve been doing this thing where I just play to full albums. It gets me so loose, I love being able to freely play drums. It’s mostly to sad, indie rock stuff, synthy noises and such. Would love if I could have a fun side project of the sort!
I suppose this is where I talk about how I’m a big emo turd and am sad. But that’s just all the time, even when I’m happy, I stay up to late and get lonely, I should probably work on getting extremely tired during the day with cool activities and continue to wake up early to enjoy these beautiful mornings/days we’ve been having! So happy to be home for spring and summer, I need to stay excited about life, drums, and art instead of trying to be excited about a girl. I think it’s a very very rare thing to find a girl who gets me and can appreciate me for who I am and need to just let something work out on it’s own and not force it. We’ll see I guess. Just can’t help but be bummed with the current situation. Heart’s kinda broke.
Anyways, on a lighter note, I’m filling my 2 months with awesome things I love and enjoy and couldn’t be happier to be able to make my own plans and do my own thing. I’m finally home to get tattoo’d too. Hopefully I’ll be going to visit my friend Franz Stefanik in Burlington, ON soon to get tattoo’d. Just need to find a friend to go with me. Followers, check him out and then come get tattoo’d with me.
